Founder Rick Boland is our Head Mentor - A Qualified Youth Worker & Trained Psychotherapist - Rick created MANA Youth Project from the ground up a Decade ago, envisioned from a series of dreams and his own personal lived experiences including the Mentorship he received in his early adult life which drastically changed the trajectory of his life.
A Mornington Peninsula resident his entire life, Rick has dedicated the last 10 years to creating opportunities for young people in the community to find their purpose, access consistent and meaningful mentorship, and develop and deliver innovative, one-of-a-kind programs and frameworks that encourage growth, awaken potential and empower self-development through the shared wisdom and co-creation across generations.Â

As the visionary architect behind MANA Youth Project, Mentor Rick has spent ten years serving as our Head Mentor and creative lead. He didn’t just build a business; he meticulously engineered an entire ecosystem including the revolutionary Life-RPG Framework, the Pathfinder Program, and MANA Akademy.

His work is fueled by an intense passion for helping others navigate their own paths, drawing from his deep mastery of various personality archetypes and mentorship styles. Rick views himself as a lifelong student of the human experience, constantly evolving alongside the young people he guides. He believes that growth is a perpetual cycle of discovery, always stating that the quest for self-knowledge is a mission that never truly ends.
